Here is a cute collage that I found of Tauna's kids JR and callie.

Swiming at the lake

Grandpa had fun playing with the kids at the beach. The beach is just a few minutes from Terra and Lonny's house.

The kids had fun playing at Priest Lake. It is so close to their home that they are able to go there often.

Golfing

Mauri, Matai and Shad are ready to go golfing. Their dad Lonny loves to golf and is teaching his kids.

Rain Dance

The kids had fun singing and dancing in the rain. The storms here in Tenessee are like none that I have ever experienced before.

Hawaiin night

Hawaiin night with Terra and Lonny.

Obstacle course

This is a picture of the Terra's kids doing an obstacle course that they set up in the living room. We are having a great time with them. It is neat to spend so much time with them getting to know them better.

Sprinkler fun

The kids are playing in the sprinkler in the backyard. This is the greenest that their grass has ever been back here.

Sunday

Here is a picture of the kids on Sunday morning before church. Mauri is 11, Seri is 7, Ami is 4, Shad is 2 and of course you have Terra and Grandpa in the picture as well.

Arrival in Tennessee

We arrived at Terra's house in Tennessee on June 30th. We will be here till after she has her baby in September. It has been a few years since we have seen them so it was so good to get here and give them all big hugs.

Saint Lewis Arch again

I finally found another picture of the Saint Lewis Arch. It was neat to be able to stop here and see this.

Nauvoo Temple

This is the Nauvoo Temple. Can you imagine leaving your home and temple knowing that you would never see them again?

Looking Back

We to turned and looked back at the temple in the distance. I can't explain the feelings we had.

Mercantile

Here is a picture of Roy in the mercantile. We got to see them make the barrels in a different home.

Mississippi River

When I saw the Mississippi it was hard to imagine the Saints crossing it in the middle of winter. It was choppy and looked very scary.

Wagon trail

What a visual of what it would be like to have your oxen pull a wagon in the mud. Look at how deep the ruts are.

Nauvoo Temple

Here is a picture of the Nauvoo temple taken from the 3rd story of the Cultural Hall.

Nauvoo Homes

Many of the homes that are still standing in Nauvoo were made of the red brick that you see here. It was interesting to see some of the items of that time.

Nauvoo Tour

We took a hosted tour that was an hour long. We were in a covered wagon and it took us all around Nauvoo.

Temple Session

This is Roy and I in front of the Nauvoo Temple. We were able to attend a session the morning after we arrived in Nauvoo.

Nauvoo Temple

The Nauvoo temple looks very beautiful at night. We were able to see this our first night in Nauvoo.

We were also able to go see this program that is put on by the missionaries.

Seeing Nauvoo was a beautiful experience. We were so glad that we were able to stop here on our way to Terra and Lonny's.

Family

This is a picture of Don and Charlene Zwonitzer. They are standing on top of their old missle site which they fixed up and now live in.

Here Roy is inside the Saint Lewis Arch. It was a really neat place to see.

St. Louis

Roy and I took this picture from the top of the Saint Lewis Arch. The small white boukding is the capital building in St. Louis.
